Biography
Four energetic rockers from Thunder Bay, never satisfied with remaining in the comfort zone we continually strive to improve our on stage show and diverse set list. in 2001 the band was conceived and soon was being booked regularly in the local bar scene. We won the local band wars contest for that year and got a nice write up in the local newspaper. There is always a new horizon for us in 2003 it was our long awaited CD release as well as backing professional acts such as the Killer Dwarf's and Trooper. We are your standard 4 piece rock band that sounds like a 6 piece band! Music Style Classic Rock , with a hard edge {Keyboard oriented with melodic guitar) Musical Influences Deep Purple, Santana, The Doors, Grand Funk, Eagles, Cream, Zz Top, Jeff Beck, Pink Floyd, Van Halen, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Dire-Straights, War, Blue-Oyster-Cult, Kiss, Allman Brothers, Lynard Skynard, Jimi-Hendrix, Boston, Sugarloaf, Guess Who, Alice Cooper, Beatles, etc. Similar Artists Creed, Nickleback, Oasis, Chilli-Peppers, 5440, Bon-Jovi etc.etc.
- The Wanted Band also was the house band at the Circle Inn, for a short while serving as Tommy Horricks backup band.
