Biography

All That Was Left was formed in the fall of 2002 as a loose reincarnation of Fusion Faction. The original members shared the same lineup of the Faction, with the exception of Matt Daniels replacing Mark Williams on guitar.

The band's name came to them during a recording session of left over Faction favourites (one of these would later become the band's first public release "Sheltered"), while they were reading through video game manuals in desperation. All That Was Left was born.

Shortly after the initial recording sessions, Ian Hibberd was replaced with Brandon Smith (of Tenth Ring fame) in hopes that his voice would take the band in new directions. The band continued to write with the absence of a bass player (away at school). Sadly, just as Jamie had returned from school, Lindsey Hacquoil left the band to persue other musical intrests.

It was at this time that With Regard had recently disbanded and Mike Bone had thus agreed to play with All That Was Left. It was with this line up that the band wrote and recorded two demo EPs entitled "Avenues Through The Trees" and "Self Portrait", as well as embarked on a ten day bender (tour) of Southern Ontario with fellow rockers Vaya.

Unfortunately, in the summer of 2005, Mike Bone quit All That Was Left in order to pursue different musical tastes with his friends in Loyal She Remains.

In December of 2005, Brandon joined up with Boner in the Unloyal Musician's Guild. All That Was Left died peacefully. The end.
