Biography
Choking On Static is a band from Thunder Bay, Ontario. It all started as three guys from the same high school wanting to get together and jam named Mike, Jordan, and Matt. They did so and wrote a few songs then later on found a bassist, Zakk, to play their first show. From there on they played a few shows, then another show came up and Zakk was not able to play due to leaving town. A friend of the band, Jaime, offered to learn all the songs and play bass for them at that show. He was also asked to bring a guitar to the jams to try out. After the show, he played bass and was later recruited as a second guitar player. Things went smoothly for about a year, then lead vocalist Matt decided to leave the band for numerous reasons. After about a week of searching, Jared was brought in from one of Jaime's previous bands. They are now hitting the stages again with new merchandise, a tight stage show, new songs, and soon an EP to be released. So keep your eyes open!
