Playing Music Will Never Be The Same, You'll Always Be In Our Hearts

BRANDON CARRUTHERS JUNE 12, 1986 - MAY 21, 2006

It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our precious son and brother, Brandon Wade Carruthers, on May 21, 2006 in a canoeing accident. Brandon was the light of our lives and his daily presence in our family was always like a breath of fresh air. His bubbly, zesty, fun-loving personality and his love of life was admired and enjoyed by his many friends and family members. Brandon's playful spirit and exuberance made him the life of every party. Brandon attended Vance Chapman, St. Margaret's, Bishop Gallagher and St. Ignatious Schools and would have been entering his 2nd year at Confederation College in the Civil Engineering Program. Brandon lived life to the fullest by enjoying a variety of activities, including playing hockey, football, paintball, fooseball, BMX biking, snowboarding and skateboarding. He loved cooking chicken quesadillas for mom, barbecueing burgers with Tyler, hot tubbing with dad, and he especially enjoyed regular outings for spicy wings with Adam, Korey & buddies. Though Brandon was blessed with numerous hobbies and talents, he put his heart and soul into his music. His passion was in drumming in his rock band called Subtle Fate, with his twin brother, Adam, and his buddy, Dave Zahodnick. He will be sadly missed forever by his father, Todd, mother Sandra, brothers, Adam and Tyler, grandparents Roland and Helen Carruthers, Martha Rentz, Great Grandmother Roma Laberge, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and his many friends.
