- Diode Initiative is not actually a "band". It was a project idea created by Tyler Rauman where a number of different local artists would be able to create music (mainly electronic), and have other local artists remix or improve on the existing tracks. However, the project never really took off, and it's even quite likely that no Diode Initiative releases other than Tyler's original Aspirate Remix Project were ever handed out.
