Biography

It all sortof started when Matt and his friend Kyle quit there old band to start a more "punkish" band. So they look around and as there last resort they decided on Hellfish to play drums for them...But when they went to jam they couldn't do shit. So Matt sortof just stopped jamming with anyone for a while, then one day when Matt was gonna go watch anime at Hellfish's, Jimmy stopped by and we just chilled out. Then Matt went downstairs and screwed around on Hellfish's drums, and Jimmy was like, "hey, why don't I go get my guitar and I'll play while you drum." and Matt was like, "pfft whatever". So Jimmy went and got his guitar and they started to screw around. Then Hellfish came down and Matt took over on the 6 string, and LM tried to sing. And then like all of a sudden, Hellfish proved he could actually play drums..Wow what a miracle..From that point on, Phat and Hellfish started thinkin' of ways to get Jimmy out and someone else with a teeny bit more talent in...Thus begins a new journey down the path of stardom for Freedumb 55. Then, with a few upgrades, and renewed faith in Jimmy, and more vocals by Matt, the band was becoming a much better trio. Then just like everyother band in history, they went through a bunch of name changes, Operation Kapow, No Talent Needed, We Are 3, and finally (currently) Duck And Run. (yes like the 3 doors down song) D&R are currently in studio process for a indie-self-produced album that will contain a bunch of studio material, as well as some outtakes and live stuff.. Since these fools have been going back to school, we recruited a new bassist named Miggz, hes a cool guy and a good bassist. So the current line-up is Me (Phat Matt) on lead guitar/vox, James (Jimmy LM) Marie on rythym guitar/vox, Dave "Miggz" Migliazza on bass, and lastly James "Hellfish" Alves on the Drums.
