Remote Control was formed in the spring of 1983 in Thunder Bay Ontario. After Aladdin Sane had broken up nearly one year earlier, Sean, Bob and Dale desperately wanted to continue down the same path. Darryl Murray filled the shoes of Randy Williams and Remote Control was born. The only problem Remote Control had was nobody informed Darryl that this was just a rehashed Aladdin Sane. Conflicts soon arose as Darryl accused the rest of the band of having "delusions of grandeur". The band definitely had their heads in the clouds, while Darryl's feet were firmly planted on the ground. This is no offence to Darryl, HE WAS DEAD RIGHT!!!! If we could have listened a little closer to what he had to say we may have lasted a little longer than a few months. This band was far better than Aladdin Sane. But unfortunately the EGO's, were a little stronger as well.
