History
The 4th Dimension was a city-funded youth venue that operated between 1995 and 1997. It was named after The Fourth Dimension Coffeehouse, which operated in downtown Fort William in the 60s.
Bands like The Violet Hour, Society's Norm, Kate's Walker, Peterfuzz, Fiction, and Motherbud played there.
After its demise, its role was taken over by the RMYC.
- Run by Alannah Khubyar
- Originally headed by a very nice girl named Laurie Gaune.
- Brought in local acts and Canadian acts to such venues as Trinity Hall.
- Held an outdoor concert in Marina Park in August 1997
- Jumped venues way too often.
- Heart in right place.
- Had such people as; Jehn Dropko, Jake Raynard, Kyle Khubyar, Dawn McMurray, Mike Guerin, Ryan White, Adam Richards
- Longest stay was in the Indian Friendship centre at 704 McKenzie followed by Trinity Hall
