The Bandwiki Media Project is an attempt to upload a large amounts of media to bandwiki.ca. If you have any mp3's that are not currently uploaded to bandwiki, please feel free to upload.

How To
If you have an mp3 of the local scene, the process is:
- Click on "Upload File" from the mainpage or sidebar
- Upload mp3. Name it something reasonable that you can copy and paste with no spaces or symbols except for dashes/underscores. A reasonable title would be: your_band-your_song.mp3
- Edit the page you want to include the player with the tag <flashmp3>your_mp3_name_here.mp3</flashmp3>

- Between us, we've got a massive quantity of local music. Hence, a proper project to:
- Put together a list of what albums we have and what albums we know about
- Put together a list of which albums we want to acquire, and how
- Figure out possible sources for additional albums
- Figure out a well-backuped storage solution for what albums we have digitally, and rip any other albums to a future-proof format that will survive the original media degrading, getting lost, etc
- Index tracklistings, scan in album art, input metadata to the wiki
- Make whatever albums we can available to the public for their listening pleasure.
