Criteria
These bands are particularly notable, for one reason or another.
All bands on this page must meet at least one of these criteria:
- Was the first or one of the first in their genre
- Recorded at least 3 albums
- Had at least 15 members move through their ranks over the time they were active
- Was a significant influence in the life of someone who later became notable
