Cissell Tumbler were a three piece band that was active in early 2000. Their music was largely instrumental and progressively ambitious. They played many shows at The Apollo and appealed largely to the University crowd. They combined spacial and hypnotic grooves with hard house beats often incorporating complicated off timing on top of a solid 4/4 beat.
