+ | The mid 60's were a golden era for garage bands playing the latest r&b, soul music and of course whatever pop topped the charts. The Erbs came together at FWCI, eventually playing assemblies and dances at various high schools and appearing regularly at the "famous" dances held at Fort William Gardens where the girls danced with each other in the centre of the space in front of the bandstand, while the guys walked in a circle around them. These evenings featured a number of bands on any given night, including [[Paul Shaffer]]'s [[Fugitives]] and many others described on this great site. |
