Formed in 1995 Gushkappa was a Metal band along the lines of Fudge Tunnel who was one of their biggest influences. They were a constant staple at the 4th Dimension venue on McKenzie St., played many times at [[Crocks & Rolls]], and opened for bands like Shallow, Kittens, Gut-Sonic, and The Monoxides. First show was with G.I. Jill at Crocks & Rolls opening for The Monoxides. Came second in the 4D's battle of the bands in 1996? but lost to a two man acoustic guitar act called Grenwich Meantime. Broke up in late 2006.
