He made his living as a motivational speaker and returned to Thunder Bay in 1995. Lynden Spence McEachern passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, January 24th, 2006 in St. Joseph's Hospice.

In memory of Lyn McEachern a celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, February 25th at 8 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 5, 229 Van Norman St. Family and friends are all invited to attend.
