Merlin's Tea Room
A small tea shop that occasionally had acoustic or low-key performers. It was in the upstairs of 140 North Syndicate, next to the Brodie bus depot.
The Syndicate building went through a number of uses over the years. The main floor was most recently Twice As Nice. The building was torn down July 21st, 2009 to make way for the new courthouse.
Merlin's Bistro
The venue moved to 127 South May Street sometime in early 1995. By 1996, it had turned into the Crocodile Cafe, which continued the same type of entertainment. By 1998, however, it had closed and become Player's Sports Pub.
