[[Oak]] was a short lived project in 2002.  The band consisted of [[Ryan Ketchum]] on [[Drums]], [[Dave Angell]] on [[Bass]], [[Jordan Lester]] as frontman, and [[Rob Cooney]] on [[Guitar]].  The band played a highly aggressive and sexed up rock n' roll.  Oak only played one live show and it was legendary.  It went down in Nipigon at the hockey arena.  Over 300 people packed the adjacent commmnity centre room and rocked out.  Oak was very well recieved and the people really enjoyed the music.  The life of the band ended when [[Ryan Ketchum]] injured himself severely while mountain biking.
