PILLAR was widely considered the top group in the Thunder Bay area from 1969 to 1972. This tight eight piece band had a big sound featuring a three piece horn section. PILLAR performed covers of Chicago, Lighthouse, Sly & the Family Stone, many other similar groups and R & B performers of the era. PILLAR performed in all of the top venues in and around Thunder Bay including Ft. William Gardens, Lakehead U, Exhibition Auditorium for Con.
