Biography

Rick first performed at the The Spike Coffeehouse as a solo performer. He later went through a series of different groups as a Guitar player / vocalist and eventualy wound up at lead Guitar and backup Vocals with George Gregorovich and Jim Squier in Michael And Company. Rick later took up Bass guitar and left to tour out of Winnipeg with George and Ken Campbell with Sunshower.

After that group broke up, Rick worked with a number of Winnipeg's best musicians in a series of groups. Notable among those were Scott Smith (later to join Loverboy) and Leroy Hawk (later to join Harlequin).

After returning to Thunder Bay, Rick had a house gig at The Horseshoe Tavern with Wail whick consisted of Rick, Orville Santa, John Dixon and Rick Caputti

Rick is currently performing with George again in The Michael-George Trio and has resumed writing lyrics for Bill Houston. Some of Rick's lyrical work appears on Bill's 2006 release Bring Back the Music.
