Scott was originally a bassist, playing for garage band Disconfusion and Punk band Auxillary Clinton. Neither one really got off the ground due to differing music tastes among the members of the bands. He has recently made the switch to synth and Percussion for his work with YR:0(Year Zero). Hobbs also ran the label Darwin Music Canada for a time and had a solo project entitled Slim Vertical. He used to do just about everything in the experimental electronic project Zerocryte.
Currently he is working on a weekly electronic music radio show for a new internet radio station, and is writing and producing a still unnamed musical collaboration with members of YR:0 and several other artists.
