The band was named for the T.Rex album of the same name + some of their recordings were played for the local radio/tv audience on [[Maclean Hunter]]'s community tv channel in the early seventies. Some of their classic material includes... "You'll Find Your Fantasies", " Leader Number One", "Sidewalk Suzie", "(We're Violent Tonight And We're) Breaking Things", "Nothing Of This Earth" + "I Wish I Were An Octopuss".
