"Not quite danceable" -Julia MacArthur, The Walleye
Biography
The Shallow Void is Otis Haket's answer to the diluted, all-flash; no-substance live electronic music "scene". He is not a DJ, and his tracks are all original. His weapon of choice is a Nintendo DS, and his focus is on synthesis and composition. Classification is trivial, but his sound is spacy and psychedelic with a hint of chaos. The Shallow Void's only flash is on an SD card, and his music is thoroughly mixed with substance(s).
