Take-Offs were formed after the demise of [[The Heebie-Geebies]], in which Eric and Rob were both members.  After three shows, Eric was sent to the minors and brought up was young Dave, bassis excellentis.  Take-Offs played numerous shows in official Take-Offs hockey jerseys, drank way too much coffee, and spent more time playing Tony Hawk Pro-Skater on the Playstation than practicing their songs.
