THE TOUCH, Thunder Bay's Premier R&B Band, is a high-energy group that performs danceable southern Soul, Funk, Blues and Rhythm And Blues.
THE TOUCH was founded in 1990 by Jerry Depiero, lead Vocals& Harmonica; Dino Pepe, alto and tenor Saxophone; and Mark Soderlind, Guitar and horn arrangements. The original rhythm section included Tom Boshcoff, Bass and Ken Taylor, Drums.
THE TOUCH is truly unique in that it is the only rhythm and blues band that performs in the Thunder Bay area with a brass section. The repertoire of THE TOUCH with the female voice of Chrissy Ewacha includes songs by 60's artists Wilson Pickett, Ray Charles, Otis Redding and Sam and Dave. THE TOUCH also performs songs by Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Average White Band, Al Green and the Isley Brothers.
