Biography

David Thompson was a big name in Canadian Country Music throughout the early and mid-eighties. He performed on the "Tommy Hunter Show" had 14 top 40 hits, several top 10 hits and one song that made it all the way to #1 on the billboard charts. In January of 1983 "I Never Figured on This" (a Marshall Gardner song) reached #1 pushing "Good Hearted Woman" by Willie Nelson & Waylon Jennings to the number 2 spot.

1984 marked the first time Sean Borton and Bob Rogowski worked together since Nov 1982 in Aladdin Sane. In 1985 Darryl Murray joined "Thunder Road" reuniting him with Sean for the first time since Remote Control. The more things change the more they remain the same!
