Disgraceland was a few blocks from downtown PA.
History
Disgraceland was an unlicensed venue that operated in the basement of a home in the late 90s. Many Punk and Metal bands played there. the first show was with headliners "self rule" and local support burning camelot, Dishonourable Discharge, and cheap excape in 2006. the show was set up after the new management of the apollo bar dropped the show. disgraceland at that time was considered to be born in the wake of the "old apollo". shortly after disgraceland started to gain popularity in the local scene. in the first year there were several notable show's including "disgracefest",(an all day all local festival) and "gate night massacare"(devils night themed show that just recently had its 4th annual installment at the Black Pirates Pub). it quickly became the choice punk/metal venue in the community with help from the newly popularized baycore.net. over the years sevral bands had there first set's at disgraceland and grew artisticly with the help of the venue. amongst those bands were trenchfoot, Bottom Rockers, Revenge Of The Mormons, and DEAD. sevral notable touring bands played at the venue as well including punk legends the ripcordz, and the U.K. subs. The final show was in early 2009.
