Biography

I Shot JR was originally Eric Shanks, Mike Bone, Derek Bosomworth, and James Wheeler. They released their debut LP called "Shoot to Kill" recorded on sophisticated cassette tape.

A few years after they formed, James left the band and was replaced by Jon Tornblom on Guitar. ISJR retained a lot of its skate punk roots, but then took on melodic ballad as well as progressive elements. The second lineup released another LP called "Emotions and Instincts" with Dave Ciccarelli as the Engineer.

ISJR broke up after Derek Bosomworth moved away. The band then became With Regard Version 1. Members of ISJR have formed the following bands since their demise in 2000 (?): With Regard, Loyal She Remains, Head Down, All That Was Left, The Green Room Side Project, Two Drummers No Waiting, and The Mel-O-Tones.
