When [[Armanis]] nightclub and restaurant opened in the former Kresge Department store in the mid 90's, the five-pc. houseband retained the name of the former tenant. The Kresge 5 hosted a 6-10 Cocktail Party every Friday to get the Thunder Bay weekend started.
