Biography

The Outsiders were formed in February 2007 and are made up of Dave Campbell on drums, Alex Jecchinis on guitar and vocals, Sandra Caputi-Campbell on bass, Sue Watson on vocals and Gord Ellis on guitar and vocals. The group had worked for several years as the Sue Watson Band before Ellis signed on.

The Outsiders started playing house parties, but soon were back in the bars playing their unique mix of R and B, blues, rock and Reggae.

Sue Watson's unique, smoky vocals intertwine perfectly with the twin guitar attack of Ellis and Jecchinis, while Campbell and Caputi-Campbell lock it all in. Dave Campbell and Gord Ellis were reunited in the Outsiders after a 20 years break. They both founded and played in the Crosstown Blues Band in the late 1980s.

In 2008, Campbell, Jecchinis, Ellis and Jerry Depiero teamed up for a couple gigs as The Hoodoo Men. It was the first time Depiero, Ellis and Campbell had played a gig together since the last Crosstown show in July of 1989.
