'3' was formed by Arden Bruyere, Kelly Ashe, and Rob Anderson. They were just a 'Sunday night jam band' indulging in material they wanted to play for fun, but they decided to go out and look for gigs due to the positive response they were getting from guest listeners in thier studio. Their debut gig was at the Rock The Fort concert in June, 2005, and have since split up. Derek Donio was a late addition as a second guitarist.

'3' was named after Dale Earnhardt's famous number, and picks tunes with the following criteria:

If you were driving 200 miles an hour at Daytona Speedway, what would you have on the CD player ;-)?

"Rock and roll Nascar smokin' drivin' tunes..."
